G R Bar Ranch 2010 Hunt Schedule and Rates

Following is our schedule and fees.
Rifle for all seasons is for the length of the season, rather than the customary five-day hunt most outfitters offer.

ARCHERY– BUCK DEER & ELK

August 28 - September 2 – 6 day archery hunt $1,500.00 per hunter
September 5 – 10              – 6 day archery hunt $1,500.00 per hunter
September 13 – 18            – 6 day archery hunt $ 1,700.00 per hunter (elk in rut)
September 21-26              – 6 day archery hunt $ 1,700.00 per hunter (elk in rut)

Buck deer by draw (Statewide regulation). Either sex elk over the counter, purchase upon arrival.

BLACK POWDER – BUCK DEER & ELK – DRAW ONLY

September 11-19 – 9 day hunt, $2,000 per hunter (elk in rut) )

REGULAR RIFLE – BUCK DEER & ELK

1 ST SEASON – Limited Elk Only, both cow and bull licenses are by draw -
October 16 thru October 20 - 5 day hunt, $1,900.00 per hunter

2 nd SEASON – Combined Buck Deer/Elk, cow elk & buck deer by draw, bull elk over the counter –
October 23 thru October 31 – 9 day hunt, $2,200 per hunter

3 rd SEASON – Combined Buck Deer/Elk, cow elk & buck deer by draw, bull elk over the counter -
November 6 thru November 14 – 7 day hunt, $2,100 per hunter

4 th SEASON – Elk Only, – both cow and bull licenses are by draw-
November 17 thru November 21 – 5 day hunt, $2,200 per hunter

Antler point restrictions:
Elk at least four points on one antler. (Spike elk with a brow tine at least 5 inches long is legal.)
No point restrictions on buck deer.

BLACK BEAR

Archery - Over the counter, with cap - September 2 thru September 27

Black Powder - Over the counter with cap - September 12 thru September 20

Rifle - Over the counter with cap. - Concurrent with regular deer/elk seasons.

Bear licenses will be available by phone or internet beginning 8:00 a.m. July 11. Rifle hunters are required to hold a deer or elk license for the same season.
Bear may be in hibernation by the third season depending on weather.

When hunting deer or elk we make no additional charge for bear, however we do charge a $300 fee to pack out a bear.

Hunter Education proof required to apply for or purchase any big game license if born on or after January 1, 1949. Colorado will honor all other States certificates.

Reservations may be confirmed with a 50% deposit, balance payable upon arrival. No reservation will be held more than 20 days without deposit.

Application deadline for licenses available by draw is midnight April 7th .

Colorado now requires hunters purchase a Habitat Stamp to accompany the first two licenses purchased during the year.
